Donating Your Time
Exceptional Care believes in the importance of teamwork. ECTC employs approximately 140 in-house personnel, contracts with various consultants and coordinates a volunteer network to provide the best possible care.

A wide variety of professionals are needed to ensure that the quality of life of each individual served is the highest possible. These professionals make up the interdisciplinary TEAM. The team concept is vital to ECTC - without it, ECTC could not do its work.

Career opportunities may be available at any time throughout the year. If you are interested in finding out about these opportunities, please contact the Human Resource Department.

The following are a few of the career opportunities that may be available at ECTC.
  • Registered Nurse (Licensed in Illinois)

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (Licensed in Illinois)

  • Qualified Support Professional (Must meet Illinois QSP requirements as defined by Department of Human Services http://www.dhs.state.il.us)

  • Nursing Assistant (Certified positions in Nursing or Day Training Department)

  • Resident Attendant (Non-certified positions in Activity Department)

  • Dietary Department

  • Environmental Services (Housekeeping and/or Laundry)

  • Maintenance Department
Circle of Support

It takes everyone working together to make certain that our residents receive the best of care. There are no "un-important" jobs. Every person employed is a member of the TEAM. Each person on the TEAM contributes to the individual's "Circle of Support."
